Speech/Feeding Info

Children don’t come with a handbook. As a speech pathologist, I always have parents asking me questions related to language development, speech development and feeding skills, so I have compiled some of my favorite resources below. I hope the information and links provided on this page will be helpful to you!

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends breastfeeding for the first year, but at least for the first six months. If you are having trouble breastfeeding or are having milk supply issues, you should definitely talk to your child’s pediatrician and get a referral for a lactation consultant.
